What data is processed

When you email me or book a call, you provide your name, email address and the contents of your message. I process them solely to reply and to establish a possible working relationship — on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.

How long

Correspondence is retained for one year from the last contact. Documentation relating to completed engagements is retained for the period required by Polish tax law.

Client area downloads

Every file downloaded from the client area, and every container image pulled from the registry.unitsoftware.com.pl registry, is recorded in a log. The log holds only the name of the file or image, the email address used to sign in, and the date and time. No IP address, no browser details, no file contents.

There are two purposes: knowing which version of the software reached which deployment — without it neither support requests nor notifications about important fixes can be handled properly — and detecting unauthorised access to files. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR (performance of a contract, and the legitimate interest of maintaining and securing the software).

These records are kept for 13 months and then deleted. They are not used for profiling and are not shared with anyone beyond the infrastructure provider.

Downloads from the public section (/en/downloads) require no sign-in and are not recorded. Downloads through a time-limited link are recorded without an email address — such a link carries no identity.

Analytics and cookies

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. It counts page views and referrers, does not set cookies, does not profile users and does not track them across sites — which is why there is no cookie consent banner. Hosting and analytics are provided by Cloudflare, Inc.

Access to the client area requires signing in through Cloudflare Access, which sets a cookie necessary to maintain the session. Without it, access to the files is not possible.

Where the data is

I am established in the European Union. Site hosting and the client area run on Cloudflare infrastructure. No transfer of personal data to a third country takes place for the purposes described above.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, to object, and to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych) in Poland.
